Artist’s Note: Storms have fascinated me since my youth, growing up in south-central Texas where thunderstorms were frequent. Here on the northern plains, there is a majesty to the storms that come through that is unrivaled: their stately progress could easily consume my attention for the entirety of each autumn and spring. Here, one unloads itself on the fields to the north of our home in northeastern Lincoln County. Despite the heavy retouching, no further versions are planned for this digitograph.
