Artist’s Note: This is a bloom from a wisteria bush transplanted from the back yard to the front yard of our former residence in Camarillo, CA. Because gardening is by no means my personal forté, much love and time were required to keep the transplanted bush from dying. After a time, it began to thrive, and shortly after that, we wound up placing the house on the market and moved to South Dakota. Our former neighbors informed us that shortly after we moved away, the new owners dug up the plant and planted new foliage all around the house. As a result, this image is a tribute to a dear friend whom I treated badly, despite much love. To date, “Wisteriance” is one of my best-selling digitographs. No other versions are currently planned. |
