Artist’s Note: Captured on an overcast and breezy day near our former residence in Camarillo, CA, hand-held. Callas are my wife’s and my favorite flowers, and these large ones actually attracted us to the neighborhood when we were house-hunting. They were just starting to turn, and thus required a good deal of retouching, so there is not an unretouched version available. This was one of those digitographs which I envisioned in the 2:1 aspect from the beginning. The limitation on output size is due to the crop. |
